So much going on its hard to find the time to write. Gators are doing good, Lincoln told me today he forgot to study for his spelling test and he blew it with a F. I told him no tv until the grades improve. He told me how bored he was without tv which resulted in the very same lecture all parents have been giving for years about how bored someone will be when they are uneducated and working at McDonalds but have plenty of time for TV. The broken record I am sure but I think he got the point, which is I don’t care how bored he is without TV but care deeply about his grades.

A good thought here ….

Got to slip off and see an adult movie yesterday, a rarity indeed. Hayden was my movie going buddy and it was a while before I could go back to the theatres without him in tow. Saw The Iron Lady with Meryl Streep and it was really good. Much to my surprise it wasn’t done in terms of her life, which was remarkable, but rather from the point of looking backwards from the end of her life. Interesting indeed.

We are experiencing some technical difficulties so bear with me. Something about all the world traveling has gotten the posting/access/clock off center and even though I am writing it isn’t appearing. Brian is great and will get me there I know.

So we are headed to ice skiing lessons last night after school. Sierra is trying to get her work done and says I need a synonym for burglar. Lincoln says tell me what cinnamon is and I will tell you one for burglar. Sierra tried to tell Lincoln the word was synonym not cinnamon to no avail. She says it means opposite. Lincoln says I have one for you but Mom says if I just give it to you then you don’t learn so here’s a clue, it starts with P and ends with ERR. It was hard not to laugh out loud listening to the exchange. The word ended up being police officer.
