Not only was it a weird poker day for me – no pairs, no flops, no races, no nothing – fights kept breaking out throughtout the poker tournament room. First a guy at the final table of yesterdays $700 event poured coffee over the head of the guy who put him out. Then a dispute broke out in the women’s tournament over a guy being registered in it and a woman wanting a refund. Rough day all around.

Rough tournament today. In 8 hours I never got above the starting stack of 12. Was able to steal a few pots to stay alive finally pushed with A 10 of hearts only to be called by 5’s who caught a set. Oh well, get the dry levels out of the way early.

Got off to a good start with a $230 single table sit-n-go. Took second for $600 which was fair. Final hand, I have A J I raise heads up, a smooth call. Flop Q J 9. I check raise him all in. He has K Q. Fair play. The 1k starts at 11 am so headed down.
