Had a great time with the costumes and trick or treating. Sierra was a witch and Lincoln was some real scary dude. At the end of the evening we still had candy left. I suggested, as I have in previous years, we put the bucket of candy outside the gates to the courtyard with a sign that says “Help Yourself”. Lincoln suggested we make the sign say “Knock Yourself Out” so that’s what we did.

As I’m not on Day 2 of the Caesars Classic today took the children to school then slipped off to see a movie. Haven’t seen an adult movie (non-Disney and for under age 9) in a long time. Movies were something I shared deeply with Hayden and its been hard to go to them without him … but they’re still a passion. The Amelia Earhart story was just incredible, I don’t think there’s anything Hillary Swank can’t do which surely must add to the joy of the film.

My favorite line … “What if it isn’t something I’m doing to prove to the world I can do it … but something I must do to prove to myself I can do it” … sounds like someone else … go see the movie. Worth the time.

Played the Main Event of the Caesars Classic today but got busted when my A K (best hand I had for the day) got called by 9 7, flop is A 10 8 and he goes all in on a draw which got there (with a 6) on the river. It happens …

So took the children to church and then to eat. We then headed home but had to get a few groceries for the school parties this week. As we are going in the store both Linoln and Sierra are telling me the kind of cars they want to own when they grow up .. both named three with Hummer being the only common choice (as we don’t own one have no idea where that comes from). I say, well those are three cars each and you’re just one person, why three? Lincoln says well Sis is going to have a husband and I’m going to have a wife. You are? I ask. Are you going to have any children? Lincoln says he’s decided he’s going to have three children. Like Mom has three children I ask. He says “yeah, but I’m going to have one that is 6, one that is 9 and one that is 13”. I had to burst out laughing. I like LincolnWorld. Ha

Quiet Sunday with the children. Headed to church, then eat, then Lincoln wants to see a movie called Alien Boy … I’m up for any and all movies, love them. Probably no poker today and play Caesars mega tomorrow for their Tuesday Main Event.
