Played Bellagio’s $540 today along with 362 other players. Started at noon, by 7 p.m. I had the chip lead and didn’t give it up .. we moved to a final table at 1:45 a.m. when we were down to 10 players, needing to lose one to call it a night. Everyone gets their chips amassed and we sit down. I’m in the small blind. A raise in front of me and I look down at two red Queens .. “All In” I say, which at 2 a.m. is about as creative as I can be. A reluctant call which made me feel I was good and sure enough Queens held up against Jacks. One hand and we had the final nine. Back at 1 p.m. tomorrow to play it down. Only know Allen Cunningham … chips counts when I get them.
Had some meetings with Don this afternoon on one of his deals. Enjoyed the people and the deal, sounds interesting. Getting things caught up so I can play Bellagio tomorrow at noon. Will be fun.
Its the first part of December so always lots to do. Its about this time of year when I start planning for the next year, priorities, projects which have worked, which ones to abandon and re-thinking. I’m liking where its all headed though so all good.
