On the Road Again
As was pointed out to me I posted the wrong link the last time. If this one doesn’t work, I’m clueless and I am posting the actual picture of me.

I have been working for a while now to design two decks of playing cards to benefit The Hayden Scholarship Foundation. They are finally done and we have had lots of interest and sales. Thanks for all the support everyone. Check it out at www.TheHaydenScholarship.com. Thanks.

Been playing the Sunday Millions on those rare days when I am here .. always interesting to see how much different online play is than live play. I like live better though, much easier to read people for all the obvious reasons. Well back to work.

I’ve certainly logged my hours in DC the last 30 years but cant really say I enjoy the city. You only get rare good weather days (it wasnt this week) and it is so power hungry i’ve just never been a fan. Flew all day Tuesday, board meeting all day Wednesday and was glad when that ended. Thursday and Friday i got to spend with a dearest of friends and that was good for my soul and good for my personal jouney. When youve known someone 25 years theres pure value in sitting and bearing your soul. I was ambivilent about the trip but am glad I made it. More as this unfolds.

On the Road Again
Woke up this morning facing the daunting task of flying east tomorrow. Theres bad weather, delays, late flights, etc. Not that I haven’t had 30 years of it, but … I did decide to make the trip and know it will be good to be amongst my dearest friends. Sierra is starting ballet today so we came straight from school to the ballet theatre. On the way, we passed a tutoring place. Lincoln says maybe he should go there as he struggles with math. I say yeah we just need to work more on subtraction. He says he understands subtraction but doesnt understand that thing where people go knock on their neighbor’s door and ask for sugar. I had a very difficult time figuring out what he was talkimg abiut, which isnt unusual, but i knew it meant something. It took some probbing but we finally got to the narrative math problems where people borrow a cup of sugar from a neighbor and return a pound. Funny kid.
