All the family is still here and we spent yesterday doing what everyone wanted to do. The kiddos wanted to go to the M and M Store on the Strip, Don’s son wanted to go to a fight last night and took his wife and son. Don and his sister spent the day getting Christmas presents for the kids and grandkids, so a good day indeed. My lack of sleep caught up and I headed to bed after everyone got back in the house.
Today was another $540 at Bellagio and off I went. Again, made it clear sailing through the dinner break but couldn’t seem to get a break. Small blind/Big Blind, I have A J of spades, I raise, BB smoothes. Flop is Q high with two spades, I shove as I only had 13 big blinds left and he calls with KK. A million outs of any spade or an ace and I couldn’t get there. Out 35 of 235 … better than nothing and think I did my best. Not sure what else I could have done but just have to keep plugging away at it. Nice to be home in the warmth, cold out there. Back to school for the kiddos tomorrow.

interesting to look back over the year. you are at the door so much more often. the regular players seem to play often at first and after they are hitting the money all the time they back off. you have no control on the turn of a card but your talent is now getting you so far and when the cards turn your way now you are ready to take it to the bank.
