Have moved close to Suncoast Casino so have been exploring their little poker room. Generally small buy in tourneys don’t do much for me, but, interestingly, this one has been a good place to practice moves. This crowd is so local and so in tune with each other they aren’t going to play against each other, they are looking for newbies like me. I’ve really enjoyed it there. Interesting place.
I think this might be the last year for the gators and the Santa gig. Lincoln is suspicious of how that works. L and I went to see Arthur Christmas so he decided writing letters to Santa the only way to get what you want from the guy, belief aside.Lincoln’s first letter was “Dear Santa, I know I’ve been naughty but I’ve been better than my sister” , which Sierra promptly shred. So L then wrote he knew he had been naughty but “I’ll make it up to you …” now he’s negotiating with Santa. Too funny.
Well the good news is the house sold. The bad news is we had to move ALL THAT STUFF, boy what a ton of stuff one can accummulate in 10 years in one place. I told the kids that I believe everyone should move every decade, just to clear the stuff out, and I do believe that. Now, a week later, we are getting settled and it’s wonderful. Hope to be completely settled in during the Holidays. Just love it …
My apologoes for being off the blog but we had some technical difficulties. That and when I returned from Turkey the Bellagio Cup was starting and I couldn’t resist. The first $540 drew 100 players and I was third, nice to hit another final table and work hard. The second one was 282 and I was 22 which made for two nice cashes so that was fun.
