Woke up this morning facing the daunting task of flying east tomorrow. Theres bad weather, delays, late flights, etc. Not that I haven’t had 30 years of it, but … I did decide to make the trip and know it will be good to be amongst my dearest friends. Sierra is starting ballet today so we came straight from school to the ballet theatre. On the way, we passed a tutoring place. Lincoln says maybe he should go there as he struggles with math. I say yeah we just need to work more on subtraction. He says he understands subtraction but doesnt understand that thing where people go knock on their neighbor’s door and ask for sugar. I had a very difficult time figuring out what he was talkimg abiut, which isnt unusual, but i knew it meant something. It took some probbing but we finally got to the narrative math problems where people borrow a cup of sugar from a neighbor and return a pound. Funny kid.

Hi Nance,
I know this has nothing to do with math or Monday, or anything else, but just had to tell you that I got your 52 Tips cards and just love them! I want to order a bunch or gifts for friends. They are absolutely great–love the design, the tips, everything. You did an awesome job putting this all together!
