As all my readers know, I’ve worked hard to keep Hayden’s memory alive for his younger siblings. They were only three when he crossed over and simply too young to know him. That pains me deeply … as anyone can imagine. Hayden’s motororized scooter has been in storage for a while, just too painful to see it parked in the garage. We got it out and charged it up. I rode with both children then taught them how to do it. Lincoln stands tall and I say “boy, Lincoln, Hayden sure would be proud to see you driving his scooter.” Lincoln doesn’t miss a beat and says “What do you mean Mom, HAYDEN IS PROUD TO BE WATCHING ME ON HIS SCOOTER …” does a mother’s heart good to have such a spirtual child around me.
