Spent the day working on things … pilates at 8 a.m. then the children and math tutoring after school. They’re in first grade and I had to send a note to the teacher asking the following: “Instructions say Write the naming sound in each of the following sentences … what, pray tell,is the naming sound. Noun? Verb? The teacher circled noun and sent it back. Why wouldn’t they teach nouns vs. naming word … geez … maybe I just hated feeling so stupid with first grade homework.
